Lockwood Interchange Reconstruction
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) hosted two virtual, live informational meetings for the Lockwood Interchange Reconstruction project on March 25, 2021. MDT and other project team members provided a general overview and engineering design information, discussed schedule and next steps, and answered questions about the design process.
MDT is evaluating interchange and interstate improvements, including design of a Diverging Diamond Interchange (or DDI) and widening I90 to three lanes in each direction between the Lockwood Interchange and the Johnson Lane Interchange.
Community participation, especially early, is important to the success of this project. You may submit a comment or question, using the online comment form, on the drop-down menu, click Lockwood Interchange Reconstruction.
A big thank you to all of our Lockwood Interchange Reconstruction project presenters and meeting participants!
