The information is analyzed for operational trends, performance, and for ways to improve our service. Only aggregated information is collected and personal information, whether from a My511 Services registered user or non-registered user, will not be identifiable.

The MDT511 website’s vendor will store the information securely on its system. You will be asked to provide an email address and a password, which you will need to access your personal information on all visits to MDT511. All registered user data for My511Services is managed centrally through the MDT511 website, which is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The mobile application does not maintain any registered user data. When a registered user logs in to My511 Services through the mobile application, the application will access the MDT511 website APIs to authenticate the user.
Any personal information you give us will only be used for the purpose of administering My511 Services and conducting MDT511 website evaluations, including the use of surveys or questionnaires by the us or our partners. You will not be placed on any mailing lists. Your personal information will not be shared, rented, sold, or otherwise released to any third party without your prior consent, unless required by law.
Retention
The MDT511 website retains the personal information that you provide for as long as necessary to fulfill the administration of My511 Services. If you decide to delete your My511 Services account, the MDT511 website will no longer retain your information.
Montana Department of Transportation/Montana 511 Logo Use
Registered and non-registered users of the MDT511 website and My511 Services are not permitted to modify, duplicate, or otherwise use the Montana Department of Transportation and the Montana 511 trademarks or logos in any manner without prior written permission. Registered and non-registered users are also prohibited from using or sharing these logos without prior written permission. To request permission to use the logo and for questions regarding our brand standards and logo usage, please contact the MDT Communications Team.
Legal Disclaimer
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law and when we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on our website.

Location Services
The MDT511 website and mobile application uses your location to identify start and end points while determining route information. The MDT511 mobile application also uses your location to center the map over your current location and to provide the look ahead feature where the application will verbally announce events, issues and construction ahead of you on your current route. You maintain control of location services by controlling your browser and mobile settings. At no time does the MDT511 website collect or store active route information.
Access and Correction
The MDT511 website provides the ability for My511 Services registered users to correct and/or delete their own information online through the Manage Account tool within My511 Services. Individuals also have a right to access their personal information that is held within the MDT511 website system.
Privacy Statement Changes
We will use personal information in accordance with the Privacy Statement in effect at the time the information was collected. Registered Users of the My511 Services will be notified of any changes to this Privacy Statement using the email address on file. If at some point we would like to start using your personal information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will first seek your consent.
