The Flood Watch for a portion of southeast Montana has been

cancelled. The chance of widespread rainfall has ended. Some

scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible, but are not

expected to produce any issues.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...



The Flood Watch continues for



* portions of central Montana and southwest Montana, including 

  the following areas, in central Montana, Judith Basin and 

  Meagher. In southwest Montana, Beaverhead, Broadwater, 

  Gallatin, Jefferson, and Madison. 



* through Friday morning



* Showers and slow moving thunderstorms may bring moderate to 

  heavy rain this afternoon through tonight. This potential for 

  heavy rain over already saturated grounds may bring more 

  flooding and some flash flooding. 



* Those near rivers and streams should prepare for continued 

  flooding. Flash flooding will also be possible. 



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on

current forecasts.
