...The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Montana...

  Little Bighorn River Near Hardin affecting Big Horn County

.A series of storm systems will bring additional rainfall to 

southern Montana and northern Wyoming this week.  This 

rainfall on saturated soil can bring the Little Bighorn River near 

Hardin to moderate flood stage by mid-week.


A Flood Watch means that flooding is possible. Now is the time to 

prepare for action in the event flooding occurs.

The Flood Watch continues for

  The Little Bighorn River Near Hardin affecting Big Horn County.

* Until further notice.

* At 11 AM Sunday the stage was 5.2 feet.

* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

* Moderate Flooding is possible.

* Forecast...The Little Bighorn River Near Hardin will begin rising 

  Tuesday night.  It is expected to rise above flood stage of  

  8.0 FT Wednesday morning then forecast to crest near 10.5 FT 

  Thursday morning.
