The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and L & J Construction Group are in the final stages of the project. Crews anticipate “top coating” the bridge in the next week. There will be one lane of traffic for about a week until the work is complete. Lane painting is occurring later this summer and will have little to no traffic impact.

What is “top coating”? It’s a seal to protect the concrete and steel. It adds durability against abrasions and salts. This polymer-based product extends the life of the bridge.
