In Culbertson, an open-house-style public meeting was held on September 26, 2019, to present preliminary planning concepts. Since then, to ensure community needs were thoroughly considered on this project, MDT has evaluated comments received and communicated with residences and businesses along the US 2 frontage to collaborate on curbed access widths and locations to be reconstructed.

Coordination has occurred with other interested stakeholders, including the Culbertson Town Council and school district, to assist in developing the project design. The community is also installing waterline improvements along US 2. These improvements and the new storm drain system will occur under this project.
