Rehabilitation Project On Secondary Highway 381 Near Roundup

Roundup, MT - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would
like to announce and invite the public to comment on a proposal to
gravel overlay about 11.5 miles of Secondary Highway 381, southwest
of Roundup in Musselshell County. The project begins near Harper
Coulee Rd and extends south for roughly 11.5 miles ending near School
House Rd.

Proposed work includes applying a new gravel overlay and
updating signage. The purpose of the project is to re-gravel and
reshape the existing gravel roadway which will improve the safety of
the roadway and provide a better driving surface for the traveling
public.

The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in
2022, depending on completion of all project development activities
and availability of funding. No new Right-of-Way or utility
relocations will be needed.

An important part of properly planning
for future projects is partnering with the community. The Montana
Department of Transportation welcomes the public to provide ideas and
comments on the proposed project. Comments may be submitted online
