Grass Range, MT - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT)

to widen the shoulders on approximately half a mile of US 87/MT 200
seven miles west of Grass Range.

Proposed work includes widening the
shoulders to 4-feet wide on the highway east of Upper Chippewa Road.
Additional work includes the installation of shoulder rumble strips
and a new chip seal. The purpose of the project is to improve safety
by addressing roadway departure crashes.

The project is tentatively
scheduled for construction in 2024, depending on completion of all
