MDT Begins Work On Boulevard Avenue In Havre

Havre, Montana - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and
Century Companies, Inc. will be present on Boulevard Avenue to
complete improvements to the roadway, curbs and gutters, and ADA
sidewalk corners. Work will begin at the intersection of 11th St. W &
Boulevard Ave and will extend approximately 1 mile to the
intersection of 2nd St. W and Boulevard Ave.   

Construction will
begin the week of June 7th, and work will occur Monday-Friday between
the hours of 7 am to 7 pm. During construction, workers will overlay
paving between 11th Street and 9th Street and reconstructing the
roadway north of 9th Street to 2nd Street West while improving ADA
access to the intersections along Boulevard Avenue at 10th Street and
9th Street. The public can expect delays of up to 10 minutes, traffic
reduced to a single-lane, and flaggers on site. At this time, weekend
work is not planned but may be necessary if unexpected weather delays
arise. Construction is expected to be complete in September of this
