Hardin-South Virtual Public Meeting Rescheduled

HARDIN, Montana - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT)'s
virtual open house for Hardin-South, scheduled for May 21, is being
rescheduled.

Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention announced fully vaccinated people could resume activities
they gave up for the pandemic both in and outdoors. With these
restrictions lifting, MDT sees the value of person-to-person
interaction with stakeholders in the communities we serve.

Members
of the public are encouraged to watch MDT social media, local news
media, and the project website
(http://www.mdt.mt.gov/pubinvolve/hardinsouth) for updates and more
information regarding the upcoming public meeting.

The Hardin-South
project is on the south side of Hardin, extending approximately six
miles. Proposed work includes widening the roadway and new pavement
for a smoother road surface. In addition, MDT will replace a bridge
over William's Coulee, and the project will also include irrigation
and culvert improvements.

Members of the public who have questions
or comments about the project before the public meeting may contact
Nik Griffith at nikg@strategies360.com.
