MDT Resumes Work On Benton Avenue In Helena
Helena, Montana -- The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and
JAG Grading and Paving are returning to Benton Avenue to complete the
shared-use path and ADA upgrades. Work will begin at the intersection
of Benton Avenue and Oakwood Lane and extend north about .5 miles to
the intersection of Benton Avenue and Custer Avenue
will resume on April 28th, and work will occur between the hours of 7
am to 7 pm. During this time, workers will be painting crosswalks and
performing revegetation work along the shoulders. The public can
expect delays of up to 15 minutes, traffic reduced to a single-lane,
and flaggers on site.
