MDT To Evaluate Options -Pavement Rehabilitation On Hwy 24

GLASGOW, MONTANA (December 9, 2019) The Montana Department of
Transportation (MDT) would like to announce and invite the public to
comment on an evaluation of about 8 1/2 miles of Montana Highway 24,
north of Glasgow. The project begins at the intersection of Highway
24 and Highway 42 (reference post 0.0) and extends 8.5 miles north
(reference post 8.5).

The project will evaluate multiple options for
rehabilitation of the existing pavement. The result of the study will
be a recommendation of a pavement treatment for this portion of MT-24
and may lead to a design project that would develop plans for a
future construction project.

An important part of properly planning
for future projects is partnering with the community. Montana
Department of Transportation welcomes the public to provide ideas and
comments on the proposed project. Comments may be submitted online at or in writing to Montana
Department of Transportation, Glendive office at PO Box 890,
Glendive, MT 59330-0890. Please note that comments are for project
