MDT Proposes Crack Seal Project For Glendive District

Montana Department of Transportation Proposes Crack Seal Project for
Various Roadways Throughout Southeastern Montana

GLENDIVE, Montana.
(July 31, 2019) - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT)
would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to
crack seal approximately 27.6 miles of road for the following

I-94 (eastbound & westbound) in Rosebud County from
Reference Post (RP) 83.7 to RP 87.1  US 212 in Powder River from RP
69.6 to RP 76.9  MT 7 in Fallon County from RP 15.8 to RP 23.7  MT
59 in Powder River County from RP 0.0 to RP 9.1 

Proposed work
includes placing crack sealant on five projects that have been
completed within the last two to five years. The purpose of the
project is to prevent water infiltration and extend the pavement life
for these projects. 

The project is tentatively scheduled for
construction in 2020, depending on completion of all project
development activities and availability of funding.
