MDT Proposes Pedestrian Crossing Improvements on Euclid Avenue at
Helena, Montana. (July 30, 2019) - The
Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would like to notify the
public and seek comments on a proposal to add pedestrian activated
rectangular rapid flashing beacons and upgrades to the existing
Proposed work includes installation of push button
activated rectangular rapid flashing beacons on Euclid Avenue at
Granite/Broadwater Avenue and upgrading the existing crosswalk. The
purpose of this project is to improve and increase pedestrian safety.
The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2020,
depending on completion of all project development activities and
availability of funding. There are no new Right-of-Way or utility
relocations needed for this project.
