Near Hot Springs

HOT SPRINGS — The Montana Department of
Transportation (MDT) would like to notify the public and seek
comments on a proposal to resurface about 5.0 miles of Montana
Highway 28 near Hot Springs in Sanders County.

The project begins
about 0.1 miles south of the junction with Secondary Highway 382 at
reference post 16.2 and extends northerly for approximately 5.0
miles, ending about 2.3 miles north of the Hot Springs Road
intersection at reference post 21.2.

Proposed work includes an
asphalt overlay, seal & cover (chip seal), guardrail replacement and

extend the service life of the existing asphalt surfacing.

The
project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2020, depending
on completion of all project development activities and availability
of funding.

No new right-of-way or utility relocations will be
