Geraldine - Crack And Seal Project On Highway 80

of Transportation Proposes Project on Montana Highway 80 North of
GERALDINE — The Montana Department of
Transportation (MDT) would like to notify the public and seek
comments on a proposal to crack seal and seal and cover about 3.7
miles of Montana Highway 80 northeast of Geraldine in Choteau County.
The project begins at reference post 24.3 and extends southeasterly
for 3.7 miles, ending near the town of Geraldine at reference post
Proposed work includes crack sealing, seal and cover (chip
seal), and upgraded pavement markings. The purpose of the project is
to extend the life of the roadway by sealing the roadway surface.
The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2019,
depending on completion of all project development activities and
availability of funding. No new right-of-way or utility relocations
will be needed.
