Beartooth Highway
ROAD CLOSURE BEGINNING OCTOBER 5, 2015
There are several locations on the Beartooth Highway between the road closure gate south of Red Lodge and the Wyoming Line that necessitate repairs. These repairs consist of slope stabilization and the installation of a retaining wall. The repairs can safely be completed when the highway is closed to traffic for the winter season which is planned for October 5, 2015. This repair project will allow the opening and continued operation of the Beartooth Highway in the spring of 2016.
