Warden Bridge construction project

Warden Bridge Reconstruction Project Overview

The Penhall Company, a highway and bridge restoration company, has been contracted by the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) to complete rehabilitation work on the Warden Bridge, which crosses the Missouri River at 10th Avenue South/U.S. Highway 89 in Great Falls. The project began the week of June 6, 2011, and will go through mid-July.

The rehabilitation work on the 60-year-old bridge will repair the delaminations and spalling on the concrete deck and will replace or reseal several expansion joints. It will also mill off 2 inches of existing deck overlay and place back 2 inches of new concrete.

The restoration work on the Warden Bridge will significantly extend the life of the bridge and make it a safe and durable structure for many years to come.
