Montana Department of
Transportation Proposes Seal and Cover Project for Montana Highway 7
South of Wibaux
WIBAUX — The Montana Department of Transportation
(MDT) would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal
to seal and cover about 24.4 miles of Montana Highway 7 (MT-7) south
of Wibaux in Wibaux County.
The project begins at the intersection
of MT-7 and Ash Creek Road at reference post 54.7 and extends north
for approximately 24.4 miles, ending near the intersection of Beer
Can Alley at reference post 79.1.
Proposed work includes crack
sealing, seal and cover and new pavement markings. The purpose of the
project is to extend the life and service of the existing pavement.
The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2021,
depending on completion of all project development activities and
availability of funding. No new right-of-way or utility relocations
will be needed.
