of Transportation Proposes Safety Enhancement Project at U.S. Highway
EMIGRANT— The Montana Department of Transportation
(MDT) would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal
to update signing at the intersection of U.S. Highway 89 and Murphy
Lane (Secondary Highway 571) in Emigrant in Park County.
proposed project includes upgraded warning signs, vehicle-actuated
flashing beacons and intersection-related signing.
The project is
tentatively scheduled for construction in 2019, depending on
completion of all project development activities and availability of
funding. No new right-of-way or utility relocations will be needed.
