of Transportation Proposes Safety Enhancement Project at Two
Locations on U.S. Highway 89
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS — The Montana
Department of Transportation (MDT) would like to notify the public
and seek comments on a proposal to complete safety improvements at
two locations on U.S. Highway 89 (U.S. 89) in Meagher County.
Proposed work at these two locations on U.S. 89 includes:
South of Neihart — Install guard rail from reference post (RP) 25.3
to RP 26.5.
Site #2: North of White Sulphur Springs — Update curve
signing in four curves and replace cable rail with box beam between
RP 12.0 and RP 16.0.
The purpose of this project is to address the
