Glendive - Curve Signing Upgrades On Eastern MT Roadways

Montana Department
of Transportation Proposes Project to Upgrade Horizontal Curve
Signing in 16 Counties in Eastern Montana 

GLENDIVE  The Montana
Department of Transportation (MDT) would like to notify the public
and seek comments on a proposal to upgrade horizontal curve warning
signage on all MDT maintained roads within the MDT Glendive District
in eastern Montana, including all or portions of these counties:
Carter, Custer, Daniels, Dawson, Fallon, Garfield, McCone, Phillips,
Powder River, Prairie, Richland, Roosevelt, Rosebud, Sheridan,
Valley, and Wibaux.

The purpose of the project is to upgrade
horizontal curve signage to meet the current national guidelines. The
project will improve the safety of the roadway for the travelling
public. 

The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in
2018, depending on completion of all project development activities
and availability of funding. No new right-of-way or utility
relocations will be needed.
