Montana Department of Transportation Schedules Informational Meeting to Discuss Valley Spur Improvement Project 

BOZEMAN - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), in coordination with DOWL and Kittelson and 
Associates, is conducting a public informational meeting to discuss the Valley Spur Intersection Improvement Project. 

The meeting will be held in Bozeman on Thursday, Aug. 24, at the Bozeman Best Western 
Plus Grand Tree Inn (1325 North 7th Avenue). The open house will begin at 4:30 p.m. 
and end at 7:30 p.m. Project team members will be available during the meeting to discuss the project. 

The Valley Spur Intersection Improvement Project is focused on providing safe, 
coordinated signalization at identified intersections on Spur Road at the Frontage Road 
and East Valley Center Road. Improvements focus on improving congestion and clearing queues during rail crossings. 

The purpose of this meeting is to present the recommended improvement options for the 
intersections and to gather community feedback on the proposed project.

public is encouraged to attend. Comments may be submitted at the meeting;
