East Belgrade Interchange Project
Work is Resuming
Update: Concrete and grading work continues the East Belgrade Interchange project. Work zones will be confined to Airway Boulevard between I-90 and Frontage Road and along Frontage Road. Impacts to the traveling public are anticipated to be minimal.
Construction Status - Week of April 20 - April 24
Grading crews are nearing completion with the grading work and topsoil placement along Airway Boulevard between Interstate 90 and Frontage Road.
Concrete crews have finished the slope protection underneath the new interstate and railroad bridges. Sidewalk installation has been completed along Airway Boulevard between the Interstate and the new intersection of Northern Pacific Avenue and Airway Boulevard. Concrete sidewalk crews will now move to Airway Blvd, North of the Frontage Road.
Concrete crews have also started with concrete pours for the new intersection of Northern Pacific Avenue and Airway Boulevard.
Traffic impacts will continue to be minimal over the course of the next couple of weeks.
Motorists are reminded to watch for work crews and equipment, as well as signs indicating reduced speed limits and detours. Posted limits are enforced until signs indicate that the work zone has ended. Fines double in work zones
