Outdoor Advertising - Fee Schedule

A permit must be obtained for each sign structure and a nonrefundable initial application fee must accompany the application for the permit. The non-refundable application fee shall be in the amount of $100.00, made payable to the Montana Department of Transportation.

If the application is approved, a permit will be issued, and a permit fee assessed. The Department will calculate the permit fee, which must be paid within thirty (30) days of permit issuance, as required by Section 18.6.211, Administrative Rules of Montana. Upon payment of the permit fee, the permit plate will be submitted to the permit holder to be attached to the sign structure.
