At 229 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated scattered showers and 

thunderstorms over Rosebud county. These slow moving storms are 

producing heavy rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour. With the 

slow storm movement localized flooding may develop. 

Be alert for rising water and move to higher ground if flooding is 

witnessed. Drivers should slow down and expect poor visibility and 

ponding of water on roadways.

Colstrip, Forsyth, Lame Deer, Ashland, Rosebud, Vananda, Rock

Springs, Cartersville, Birney Village and Northern Cheyenne Indian



Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to 

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
