The City of Hamilton, Ravalli County, and the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) are completing a comprehensive, area-wide Transportation Plan. The updated Plan, called the Hamilton Area Transportation Plan (2009 Update), will examine all forms of ground transportation, including pedestrians and bicyclists, within the study area boundary. The project partners, in conjunction with the consultant selected to assist with this project (Camp Dresser & McKee), are pleased to announce the scheduling of the project's first public informational meeting for this project.

This public informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, beginning at 6:30 pm. It is expected the meeting will end at approximately 8:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the community room at Hamilton City Hall (223 South Second Street).

This public informational meeting will continue engagement with the public through the review and dialogue of the following: community transportation goals and objectives; identification of issues and concerns on the existing transportation system; discussion of community growth as defined in the recent Hamilton Growth Policy Update and how that growth may affect the transportation system; and next steps in the preparation of the Plan Update.
