MDT To Begin Frenchtown Traffic Control-Short Delays
MISSOULA, Mont. (March 15, 2018) – The Frenchtown Frontage Road, one
of the most well-traveled roadways in the Frenchtown area, is being
fully reconstructed by the Montana Department of Transportation this
spring. As one of the first phases, traffic control will begin on
Monday, March 19 with two to three flaggers in place to facilitate
traffic flow while large vehicles begin hauling and moving dirt and
This is anticipated to cause short delays for commuters. Work
will occur from Interstate 93 to the Frenchtown off-ramp. Work will
not be in front of the Frenchtown High School during this phase.
