Montana Department
of Transportation Proposes Safety Project on Montana Highway 200
Between Jordan and Brockway

JORDAN  The Montana Department of
Transportation (MDT) would like to notify the public and seek
comments on a proposal to upgrade signing and delineation on about 38
miles of Montana Highway 200 east of Jordan in Garfield and McCone

The project begins near Ross Road at reference post 230.2
and extends east for 37.3 miles, ending at Secondary Highway 253 at
reference post 267.5.

Proposed work includes new signs and
delineation. The purpose of the project is to reduce the potential
for road departure crashes.

No new right-of-way or utility
relocations will be required for this project. Construction is
anticipated in 2018 depending on completion of design activities and
available funding.
