Forsyth - Median Cable Rail Installation On Interstate 94

Montana Department
of Transportation Proposes Project to Install Median Cable Rail Near
Forsyth

FORSYTH  The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT)
would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to
install median cable rail on about 1.6 miles of Interstate 94 along
the south side of Forsyth in Rosebud County. The project begins at
reference post 93.6 at exit 93 and extends east for 1.6 miles, ending
at reference post 95.2 near exit 95.

Proposed work includes slope
flattening and the installation of the median cable rail. The purpose
of the project is to reduce cross median crashes. New right-of-way
and utility relocations are not anticipated.
