East Belgrade Interchange Project

Construction Status - August 29, 2014

Starting the week of September 2nd, both lanes of traffic along Frontage Road will be shifted North to a temporary road that will extend from Arizona Street and head East approximately one half mile. This will enable crews to begin the process of lowering the Frontage Road to meet up with Airway Blvd and the East Belgrade Interchange.

Two lanes of traffic will be maintained throughout construction as space permits. Please continue to expect flaggers, changing traffic patterns and potential delays while traveling through the work zone. Construction through this phase is anticipated to last approximately 3 months.

During Frontage Road construction the entrance to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport will remain open at all times. However, please allow extra travel time to assure a timely arrival.

Arizona Street has been re-opened to all traffic between Northern Pacific and Frontage Road and will remain open throughout Frontage Road construction.

Motorists are reminded to watch for work crews and equipment, as well as signs indicating reduced speed limits and detours. Posted limits are enforced until signs indicate that the work zone has ended. Fines double in work zones.

Weekly project updates will appear in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Belgrade News and local radio stations.
